How is UMP CDHP different from UMP Classic?
- Premiums are lower.
- Deductible is higher.
- Prescription drug costs count toward your deductible and out-of-pocket limit (except for ancillary charges).
- Out-of-pocket limit is higher, and more of your costs count toward your out-of-pocket limit.
- You pay 15% for all covered prescription drugs (except for ancillary charges) after meeting your deductible.
- UMP CDHP comes with a tax-free health savings account (HSA). PEBB contributes $700 for one person, $1,400 for more than one person.
- No inpatient copay for emergency room visits or inpatient hospital stays (you pay a percentage of allowed costs).
