Technical Advisory Group
The Washington State Agencies' Technical Advisory Group (TAG) provides advice and feedback to state agencies that purchase health care, including:
- The Health Care Authority Uniform Medical Plan
- The Department of Labor & Industries
- The Department of Social and Health Services Health and Recovery Services Administration
The TAG includes representatives from most major professional provider associations. TAG members provide input on topics such as the state agencies' fee schedules and payment methods, health care coverage policies, administrative simplification efforts, and other health care initiatives. TAG members are key in facilitating communication between the state agencies and the provider community.
